Fire Detection

Concept

Where there is smoke, there is fire … That is why we try to detect a beginning of a fire as soon as possible. Meaning that as soon as smoke and/or heat is generated, a system should already detect it and alarm it.

There are mainly 2 types of systems:

  •  Conventional: if you only need to know in which area (for example: floor by floor) a detection occurred – typically smaller buildings

  •  Addressable systems: if you need to know exactly where (for example: an office) a detection occurred – typically bigger buildings

For the management of your system, whether it is a one fire detection point system, or a multi-site -thousands of fire detection points- system, please see our SecurityCloud.eu to learn how this can help you.
